SELL Training of Trainers

Following the completion of the SELL Training of Trainers under the CSO4G Project, the real impact begins.

After designing and rolling out the new training of trainer on Social Life Skills for Effective Local Leadership (SELL) on February 11–12, 2026, we successfully trained over 40 farmers to become Master SELL Practice Trainers. They were equipped with practical tools, facilitation techniques, and leadership approaches to effectively train other farmers and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

From Training Room to the Field

Now, these trained facilitators have moved from theory to practice. They have started piloting SELL training sessions directly in their communities and fields, applying the curriculum with fellow farmers.

What This Means

• Knowledge is being multiplied farmer-to-farmer

• Leadership skills are being strengthened at grassroots level

• Farmers are improving communication, problem-solving, and teamwork

• Local organizations are becoming stronger and more self-reliant

This is more than completing a workshop, it is the beginning of a sustainable ripple effect. By empowering local farmers to become trainers, we are building long-term capacity, stronger governance, and resilient farming communities.
